I am officially in a reading slump. Work has just been so busy lately that I’ve definitely fallen behind. And now with the state of everything going on in the world and the coronavirus, I’ve been working from home and I feel like I’m working most of my waking moments. I’ll catch up again eventually but things are moving slow in the reading department! It doesn’t seem like we’ll be making any trips any time soon though so I’m thinking I might be taking some reading vacation time once busy season is over. Here are some reading highlights from March for me:
# books read this month: 1
# pages read this month: 400
# books read year-to-date: 13
# pages read year-to-date: 4,063
Other Posts this month:

Next Month TBR List:

-Not That Kind of Guy by Andie J. Christopher
-Salvation Station by Kathryn Schleich
-And then the MANY MANY books I missed already this year!
Started out strong yesterday for the first day of the read-a-thon! I had yesterday off to go to the spa with my Momma for Mother’s Day, and we got some reading done there. And then when I got home I kept reading more! I didn’t want to put this book down so I ended up reading the whole thing in one day yesterday. So anyways my Monday’s progress is below:
Time spent reading: (Approximately) 5.5 hours
Number of pages I’ve read today: 320 pages
Total number of pages I’ve read: 320 pages (Day one! Ha)
Books read: Started and finished The Bride Test by Helen Hoang (Review to be posted today!)
Challenges: I did not do the introduce yourself in six words challenge for Monday, I’ve done it for a couple of the previous Bout of Books challenges already and didn’t have time to post yesterday since I was so focused on reading.
Stay tuned for continued progress (maybe) made in tomorrow’s post on my Tuesday update!!
So the first week of ARC August 2017 was slightly productive. I managed to read a good amount during the week but Friday my husband and I went on a winery trip and then Saturday and Sunday I was traveling and visiting with family. So the weekend was pretty busy, not much reading got done but many good times were had! So here’s where I stand:
-Are You Sleeping by Kathleen Barber – Reading now
-Emerald Coast by Anita Hughes – Read and reviewed
-Leave the Night On by Laura Trentham – Read and reviewed
-If The Creek Don’t Rise by Leah Weiss
-Bad Girl Gone by Temple Mathews
-Emma in the Night by Wendy Walker
-Seeing Red by Sandra Brown
-13 Dates by Matt Dunn
-The Other Girl by Erica Spindler
-Ready to Run by Lauren Layne
-The Uncertain Season by Ann Howard Creel
-Pretend You’re Safe by Alexandra Ivy
Books Read August 1st – 7th
Emerald Coast by Anita Hughes – 1.0 stars
Leave The Night On by Laura Trentham – 3.5 stars
Plan for Upcoming Week
Work for me this week is going to be a bear so I’m not sure how much reading I’ll get done but I’m hoping to get a couple books in. Goal Day is thankfully this Saturday so that will give me a chance to get some solid reading devoted time (hopefully). We’ll see how it goes though, happy reading everyone!
